and for a very good reason. Computer jobs are a pie in the sky. Unlike a nurse where s/he can work anywhere, a computer programmer must have a perfect match to find work. Employers are not willing to spend any money training a programmer even if it's as simple as .NET. They would rather hire one from India. So, the trend reflects the reality.
